- Laptop deals will range from MacBook Air models to high-powered Windows devices and gaming laptops, with likely a few highly affordable Chromebooks thrown in for good measure.
- Below, we track the laptop deals we expect to see during Amazon Prime Day 2020, including how much they cost right now compared to their Prime Day prices of last year.
Every year, though this year pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Amazon Prime Day brings some of the best deals on all kinds of products. In recent years, Prime Day deals have rivaled those on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and this year’s event is no exception.
One of the best products you can look for on Prime Day 2020 is laptops. There is sure to be a ton of laptop models on sale this year, allowing you to grab a flagship laptop for much closer to a mid-range price, and save that much more on the already-inexpensive Chromebooks.
Laptop deals range across brands, from Asus to Acer, from HP, to Samsung, and even Apple. There are great discounts on Windows laptops and Chromebooks alike – so there should be something for most shoppers.
Apple MacBook Air deals we expect to see on Prime Day 2020
Apple MacBook Air with 256GB of storage, $899.00 (originally $999.00) [Was $999.00 on Prime Day last year]
Apple MacBook Air with 512GB of storage, $1,199.00 (originally $1,299.00) [Was $1,099.99 on Prime Day last year]
MacBooks are known for their sleek design, powerful performance, and beautifully-designed operating system. There aren't a ton of deals on MacBook models, but the new MacBook Air is likely to be on sale again for Prime Day 2020 - it's actually on sale right now at the time of writing.
The newest MacBook Air has the beautifully sleek look of the older 2018 model, but with modern touches like a new Intel processor, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and two Thunderbolt 3 ports. And now, it has the Magic Keyboard, a vast improvement over the previous Butterfly keyboard.
Amazon is selling both models of the MacBook Air at a discount at the time of writing, making us confident we'll see even better deals this time around.
Windows laptop deals we expect to see on Prime Day 2020
Acer Aspire 1 (4GB RAM, 64GB SSD), $253.70 (originally $249.99) [Was just $199.00 on Prime Day last year]

The device ships with Windows 10 S and offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, plus it comes with Microsoft Office 365 Personal. It's not on sale right now, but we expect to a similarly door-busting price for Prime Day 2020.

The Acer Aspire E steps things up a little in the performance department, offering an Intel Core i3 processor, 1TB of storage, and 6GB of RAM. It ships with a full version of Windows 10, and has a 15.6-inch display, which is perfect for watching movies. Amazon is sold out of the laptop right now, but we anticipate it will come down again for 2020.

The laptop has a 13.3-inch display along with an 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB solid-state drive. Gaming laptop deals we expect to see on Prime Day 2020
Razer Blade 15 (Intel Core i7, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti), $1,399.99 (originally $1,599.99) [Was just $1,364.11 on Prime Day last year]
The Razer Blade is one of the thinnest and most portable gaming laptops out there, but thankfully that doesn't mean that it sacrifices on performance. An older model with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card was last year's big Razer deal, so you know we should see the latest model sporting GTX 1660 Ti graphics (listed above) at a discount.
Asus ROG Zephyrus S (Intel Core i7, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070) $1,589.99 (originally $1,799) [Was just $1,249.99 on Prime Day last year] *sold out
Asus has been building great laptops in its ROG line for some time now, and the ROG Zephyrus S is no exception to that rule. This model boasts an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, and it was over $500 off last year, which is pretty impressive for a laptop this powerful. It was available for $749.99, which is a pretty impressive price. Perhaps it will go even lower for Prime Day 2020.

MSI has proved to be another breakout gaming PC maker over the past few years. The MSI GS75 Stealth offers better performance than almost any other laptop, thanks to its Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card, which is an absolute beast. The laptop was a hefty $644.45 off last year, which is an incredible deal, so hopefully we'll see a similar come down in price this year.

The Asus Chromebook C423NA-DH02 has a lovely 14-inch display with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which essentially means that it should be a little more portable while still offering the same performance compared to its 15-inch-plus counterparts. The device was just $179.99 on Prime Day last year, making it one of the best laptop deals of the event. This year, maybe the price could come down another $20: $159.99 is an awfully attractive price.
Lenovo Chromebook S330 (4GB RAM, 32GB SSD), $309.00 (originally $289.99) [Was just $144.99 on Prime Day last year]

The Samsung Chromebook Plus is a 2-in-1 laptop that has a touchscreen and can run Android apps. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus, it comes with a stylus. It's even cheaper now at the time of writing than it was for Prime Day last year, so perhaps we could see Chromebook Plus V2 come down even further for Prime Day 2020.
Acer Chromebook Spin 13 (8GB RAM, 128GB SSD), $745.11 (originally $823.35) [Was just $599.99 on Prime Day last year]
The Acer Chromebook Spin 13 is for those that need a little extra performance from their Chromebook. The device boasts an Intel Core i5 processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus it also has a 2-in-1 design.
